When our designer clients first mentioned buying land in Palm Springs, friends couldn't understand why - they had just finished a stunning renovation on their three-story home townhouse in Santa Monica. As it turns out that process gave them the itch to go one step further and build from the ground up. Their legacy in Santa Monica is an end-unit townhouse with three exposures - a spacious 2 bed / 2.5 bath plus media room / office.  The main floor is an entertainer's dream, the top floor bedrooms are individual sanctuaries and the lower level office/den featured a rendering of their soon to be Palm Springs home. The zen townhouse didn't last, yielding multiple offers at the offer deadline.
