Beverly Hills

The city of Beverly Hills is world-renowned for its status as having some of the most luxurious homes and condos and with such a high concentration. Beverly Hills is situated in the Westside, east of Westwood, south of Bel Air and Holmby Hills and west of West Hollywood.

Apart for its world-famous zip codes, many desire to live in Beverly Hills for its city services provided by City Hall, such as schools, police department, fire department, and more.

However, many do not know that although it is one city, it is divided up into two areas called Beverly Hills proper and Beverly Hills Post Office (BHPO). Beverly Hills proper is made up of lower Beverly Hills from Pico Blvd north to Santa Monica Blvd, the “flats” from Santa Monica north to Sunset, and a quarter of the way up into the Hills.

BHPO takes over the Hills to the top at Mullholland Drive. Although gorgeous homes with spectacular views such as in Trusdale Estates and Beverly Park can be found in Beverly Hills proper, which is also in the Hills, a majority of the Hills belong to BHPO which also has incredible homes. The stark difference between the two areas is that BHPO is zoned for Los Angeles and public services are provided by the city of Los Angeles, not Beverly Hills.

This is a serious consideration when deciding on schools for the children, real estate building and development. The Gray Group can help you in deciding which area is best for your needs and wants.
