Mali Richlen

Early in her career, Mali spent more than a decade building a successful career in the financial industry at Dimensional Fund Advisors. While there, she was tasked with a wide range of responsibilities from strategy, to operations, and portfolio management. During those years, she developed a deep set of skills in negotiations, sales and client management. After the birth of her third child, Mali decided to shift gears and focus on developing her long-standing passion for design. Diving in head first, she lead the complete design and renovation of her own home and then went on to successfully complete a number of other renovation and design projects for an ever growing list of clients.

Mali arrived in Marin with her family after spending over a decade in Los Angeles. It was during her extensive search for a new home and subsequent design and renovation project, that she realized it was time to marry her deep background in finance with her love of design and enter the world of real estate.

Mali’s goal is to help her clients understand the market and empower them to make the best choices when it comes to the purchase or sale of a home. Her extensive background in finance coupled with her sophisticated sense of design allows her to bring a holistic point of view on a property to her clients. Whether it is her eye for how to best present a home for sale or her ability to help her clients see the potential in a new home, Mali’s unique combination of skills are key to helping her clients achieve success with their real estate goals.

Mali grew up in Ohio and now calls Kentfield her home. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown University and her MBA from Columbia University. When not at work, Mali spends time running and hiking the hills of Mt. Tam and chasing after her three children. She is passionate about working to help find a cure for food allergies and serves as an advocate for the Southern California Food Allergy Institute.
